Chamfer

Replace selected solid edges with straight bevel faces at a constant distance.

Purpose

Replace selected solid edges with straight bevel faces at a constant distance.

Select one or more body edges in Model and choose Modify > Chamfer.

Select edges belonging to the solid that should be beveled. Multiple compatible edges may be selected.

Sets the constant setback distance of the bevel and must fit both adjacent faces.

Apply adds a Chamfer feature that modifies the selected body's edges.

Open Chamfer in History to change Distance or repair edge references.

The chamfer consumes or invalidates nearby geometry.

Reduce Distance or apply the chamfer to a smaller compatible edge set.
