Purpose
Lengthen a supported sketch curve endpoint to the next valid boundary intersection.
Where to find it
While editing a sketch, open Modify and choose Extend.
Selection
- Tap near the endpoint that should grow toward the next intersection.
Steps
- Choose Extend.
- Tap near the intended endpoint and inspect the extended result.
Options
Result
The selected line or supported curve is extended to the resolved boundary.
Editing
Undo, Trim back the extension, or move its endpoint with Edit Points.
Troubleshooting
Nothing extends.
Tap closer to the intended endpoint and ensure another supported curve lies ahead as an intersection boundary.
