Draw a closed capsule-shaped slot from a centerline length, direction angle, and overall height.
Where to find it
Start or edit a sketch, open Draw, and choose Slot.
Selection
- Place the first centerline endpoint and the second endpoint or direction.
Steps
- Place the slot centerline.
- Set Length, Angle, and Height, then tap Apply.
Options
Result
Apply creates a grouped closed slot made from straight sides and rounded ends.
Editing
Dimension or transform the slot, or Explode it for independent segment editing.
Troubleshooting
The slot collapses or overlaps itself.
Use a positive Height and a Length appropriate for the intended center-to-center span.
